My new acrylic/pastel painting: “Blessing”

Lloreen En Albert mentioned on the reference picture, “When I count my blessings…I always count you twice”. After reading this and feeling her words, I decided to call this painting Blessing.
Initially I couldn’t stop crying when painting them, I just couldn’t stop thinking about their capacity to forgive and trust again…even after being hurt. I felt love, innocence and gratitude…so I agreed even more with the name of this work.
